Why?  Is there some Boxed Deluxe edition they stopped printing?

I'm guessing these were some extra in-house manufactured games they had in stock?  Sounds like VPG is now attempting to outsource all their manufacturing just like everyone else, unfortunately.  They may be trying to make space with sales more often now, since they'll need more storage area.

I just noticed this the other day. I want to say I've seen it before while perusing Amazon's solitaire board game offerings, but this isn't VPG selling this of course.

Prices get jacked up by 3rd party sellers on Amazon, regularly, if they think something is Out Of Print.

That's a listing from Noble Knight, which tends to carry a LOT of out-of-print stuff.  But their pricing isn't usually that far out of whack.  Someone must've thought it OOP when it isn't.  Or VPG recently discontinued it and is just off-loading the last bit?

I hear that "Barbarossa Campaign" is a pretty fun little game but $60 ($50 on sale) for a ziplock game with a little map and 2 small sheets of counters is just crazy high.

F.A.T. Mats is having a ~1/3rd Off Moving Sale this month.

They have lots of 3'x3', 4'x4', and 4'x6' gaming mats, with all kinds of terrain art to choose from (including Ocean and Space).

Hell, I'd like to have a single 4'x6' with some grassland terrain.  But I'm being exceptionally cheap with extra expenses coming up.  My pair of 3'x3' plain black mats will have to continue on.   :-\
