Thanks for the mat tip. I've been looking for something to cover my new 4x8 game table.

I was looking at these mats:
http://www.gamematz.com/pro-matz-gaming-mats/

Because they come in 4x8 sizes but 2 of those 4x4 mats are cheaper and cover the same space...

Those are some really cool mats. I'm trying to think of why I shouldn't by one.  :dreamer:

I know right! The only thing keeping me from buying is the CDN dollar is only $0.75USD right now...   #:-)

There's a rep here in Vancouver who usually shows up at conventions to flog his wares.  Just so happens we have a convention starting today.  If he's there, I'll try and get some prices from him.  Anything in particular you want Barth?

At BottosCon? You going? I was trying to arrange a business trip out there for this week but they weren't buying it.  :P

So, yeah I'm looking for a neoprene/mousepad style material with some kind of open green field design in a 4'x8' sheet.  O0

Has anyone tried Tide of Iron?  I am thinking of picking up a copy but I've never tried it.  Any good?

Damn!  $63 order will be another $40 in shipping.

x1.4 for exchange!  :pullhair:

Yup.  The really ridiculous thing is that it's $3 less for me to ship it to Vancouver than it is to have it sent to my US PO box in Blaine, WA thanks to WA state taxes.

Do you need Tide of Iron to play Tide of Iron: Stalingrad? I'm guessing yes, but thought I'd check.

Did you buy that too?

NO

...uh, not yet.

It's tempting. All of the Tide of Iron games there are about $400 with shipping normally; this sale with shipping would be $165.

I'm thinking of asking for this to be my Christmas present but I probably should just try the 2nd ed core set and not all of it.
