Title: Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition
Post by: Grim.Reaper on November 12, 2020, 03:43:06 PM
This type of game is outside my norm, but for some reason kind of drawn to it....does any one have experience with the board game version that can comment?  Just came out in digital version today on steam.

Not really my thing either but a friend wanted to play so we got in a few games earlier this year.,  It was entertaining.  Typical card mechanics.  Having a card played on fully equipped hunter and the hunter losing all weapons, that kind of thing.  Would certainly give it another go if asked.

This is a straight port of a board game.  The board game reviews can be found at:

They are pretty positive.

I've played a similar (board) game - Letters from Whitechapel, based on Jack the Rippers murders & the detection efforts of the Metropolitan police. Its a great game & is often compared to Fury of Dracula (for the mechanics primarily). All I can say is if LfW was brought out digitally I'd snap it up, so if the Dracula theme's up your street go for it.
