Doesn't look good, especially as only one grenade is reported to have been heard, and one of his was missing when he returned. I wonder who made the report recommending him and whether the reporter was actually present at the relevant time.

I think some investigation needs to be done. Perhaps the medal holder is legitimate, perhaps not.
