Hi Grogheads!
I'm just posting here to let you know about my upcoming alternate history wargame - "Werwolf: Insurgency in Occupied Germany, 1945-48," soon to be available for pre-order from Legion wargames. It's inspired by GMT's COIN series, so has a mix of euro and wargame elements and is focused on insurgency and early Cold War political tensions. It is for 1-4 players.
The setting is an alternate timeline where Nazi guerrillas (the Werwolves, a real thing and one of the game's 4 factions) continue to fight an insurgency against the Allies and the Soviets in Germany beyond 1945, while also being opposed by anti-Nazi guerrillas led by von Stauffenberg and known as the Edelweiss Movement. There are 100 event cards based on real or distorted historical events.
I am the designer and I am happy to answer any questions here. I'm also very active on twitter with game updates so follow me on Clint_Davey1 to keep track of this one.
Thanks for your time!
Sounds really interesting.
Thanks for posting and welcome to Grogheads.
Do you have a link to a website with more info.?
Hi, just my twitter for now. Legion are still working on the website. :)
Good luck, sounds great!

Necro Werwolf Threat ARISE!! :D
....haven't actually gotten and played it yet -- I would have to convert it to VASSAL or TTS for my gaming group, too (as private files, not publicly shared of course) -- but meant to say:
1.) I was glad to see the pre-order (this is also why we haven't played it yet, of course. ;) )
and
2.) man that list of available and pre-order games is impressive!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
