I think it's fake. After all, that tank had had its main spotlight shot out -- this can be clearly seen in some closeups (FACT!) -- so it wouldn't have had the capability of targeting something as small as a computer.

Still, the cake tactic is something we could use against insurgents in the Middle East. They don't eat much cake, or play many video games, and won't know it's a lie.
