Graviteam Tactics Mius Front & Regiments

Have a nice weekend.

Shadow Empire
If I get adventurous I might something new, perhaps Nebulous Fleet Command. Or maybe go back to Aurora!
"I could have conquered Europe, all of it, but I had women in my life." - King Henry II of England
I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly. - Winston Churchill
Wine is sure proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. - Benjamin Franklin

Dammit Carl!

Taking advantage of cooler weather to work in the yard for sure.

Otherwise, I've no idea.

Geezer

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.  George Bernard Shaw

SirAndrewD

Enlisted Pacific Campaign.

Maybe a touch of IL2 Normandy.  Ok, more than a touch.
"These men do not want a happy ship. They are deeply sick and try to compensate by making me feel miserable. Last week was my birthday. Nobody even said "happy birthday" to me. Someday this tape will be played and then they'll feel sorry."  - Sgt. Pinback

Sir Slash

Grandkids and getting ready for Hurricane Ian.  <:-)
"Take a look at that". Sgt. Wilkerson-- CMBN. His last words after spotting a German tank on the other side of a hedgerow.

I don't really wanna start a new thread about it, but I'm writing a VN inspired by '80s horror movies and Jurassic Park.  Practically no budget except the logo and reused assets from War of a Madman's Making, but I'm hoping with the simple scope I can finish it in time for the Spooktober VN Jam on Itch.io (7 days left to do everything!)

It's called The King of Cats and it's basically inspired by Jurassic Park and Tiger King.  The idea is there's a litter of man-eating tigers loose on a cargo ship and a bunch of people have to survive.

Here's the logo and a DevLog about this little game.  It's basically just a short little project I'm working on while I decompress from taking WOAMM into beta.

A War of a Madman's Making - a text-based war planning and political survival RPG

It makes no difference what men think of war, said the judge.  War endures.  As well ask men what they think of stone.  War was always here.  Before man was, war waited for him.  The ultimate trade awaiting its ultimate practitioner.  That is the way it was and will be.  That way and not some other way.
- Cormac McCarthy, Blood Meridian

If they made nothing but WWII games, I'd be perfectly content.  Hypothetical matchups from alternate history 1980s, asymmetrical US-bashes-some-3rd world guerillas, or minor wars between Upper Bumblescum and outer Kaboomistan hold no appeal for me.
- Silent Disapproval Robot

I guess it's sort of nice that the word "tactical" seems to refer to some kind of seriousness during your moments of mental clarity.

Looks promising!  As for me boardgames and some John Tiller nostalgia games like Battles for North Africa (and Crete).

Destraex

DCS World - a friend started flying the J.11 to get into DCS. Because it is supposed to be one of the easiest and most capable aircraft in the game. Gives me a chance to perhaps learn to do more than take off in the F16. A module I own but have played for 15mins.
Age of Empires IV - A fav coop game to relax in
WARNO LOS issues ahoy. But damn it can be fun.
Holdfast random relaxation game. Great fun with friends. I just love to hear the tunes.
"They only asked the Light Brigade to do it once"

Anguille

Cool song  :bd:

Mostly:

Tried the demo of Lord of Rigel. Nice ideas but still a long way to go.
Interstellar Genesis. I guess it's my favorite space 4x right now.
Mechs & Mercs: Black Talons: struggling with the 5th mission. Cool game.
Some turns of Shogun 2
