I thought we had an appointement!

I plan to play the following games:

- Conflict Desert Storm. I have done about 1/2 of the missions. Cool game.
- Star Hammer: The Vanguard Prophecy. The first missions are bit too easy but it's getting more and more a challenge. Not sure what the campaign is all about (too much text). Would love to see this engine in a 4x game.
- Stronghold Warlords
- Master of Orion CtS

Have a good weekend.

Some interesting games their Anguille
Star Hammer was the precursor to Battlestar Galactica Deadlock. WEGO for the win!
Stronghold Warlords I want to eventually get.

For me:
il2 Sturmovik Tank Crew
Steel Division 2
Ancestors Legacy free peasants edition

I am seriously considering getting Ultimate Admiral Age of Sail..... If I get it on the 20% off discount for loyalty gives me additional games I already own and I bet I will not be able to gift them!

Dammit Carl!

Re-installed GR:Breakpoint after having my hissy fit last weekend, and have to say that playing it sans all HUD stuff and in hard solo mode is, for me, fun.  However, it ain't the game I want to play right now, so back to Division 2 and the resultant heartache at the crashes that will doubtlessly still be there.

Lots more WITE 2, never thought i'd wonder about what altitude range i should fly my recon planes at if they have a low level recon camera, or is the trade off is worth it to equip my fighters with drop tanks to increase there range as your bombers get slaughtered without escort. What's next, i start setting my own loadouts for my planes ;)

I'll throw in playing some user made maps for Prodeus as a change of pace.

WITE 2 is excellent. It's the same foundation, but way different then #1 if that makes any sense.

I don't buy all the wargames I want, I just buy more than I need.

Control is a great game but to me it is more sci-fi than anything else. I will return to it at some point. Curse of the Dead Gods was good for a couple of hours but grew frustrating. So for a gaming palette cleanser I am now going back to Diablo III for a time...I'm knee deep into Act III and it is insane.

Enderal: Forgotten Stories and Planescape: Torment Enhanced Edition perhaps this weekend too.

Do you do your turns from the top of the map to the bottom? If so do you get the feeling that by the time you get to the bottom half of the screen you are simply reacting to the first halfs moves and how they turned out?

I'm playing, 'Getting Over the Second Covid Shot' so not much doing until I feel better. Then, MTW 2 with Stainless Steel 6.4. to make-up for it.  O0

Though I have WitW, I don't have WitE, so I think I can justify a purchase of WitE 2

Feel better Slash. And Godspeed, Tripoli.

Thanks Gus. When the going gets tough....I generally just go back to bed.

^Wise. You won't miss anything anyway and will probably feel better with some extra rest.

There is no hope for Tripoli, however.

I haven't played the campaign yet, but yea i would start from the top down, at least for the ground war. I do tend to get distracted, but i try to lay out objectives for each army group and stick to them ......but...there's that distraction thing and i do find myself reacting. i guess part of it is figuring out what's a real threat and what's not a threat. I've even taken to writing my objectives down. I've been playing the Road to Leningrad scenario with many restarts. I'm getting pretty comfortable with the air phase part, working on the getting comfortable with support units and logistics. I'm really enjoying the planning, both during the air and ground phases.
