I've never tried MP in Magicka. Could be fun.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Arctic Blast

I think I'm going to have to reinstall it, too. Damn you, conversation about Magicka!

Although I always had to run the damn thing in a window due to the FPS issue that so many of us had (and the devs evidentally couldn't figure out how to fix  :-\ ).

What?  They never fixed that?  Appalling.  That and the lack of save-anywhere is the reason I stopped playing, which was a shame because it's an incredibly fun game otherwise.

Whats better as both on sale, anno2070 or endless space?

Oh yeah... I also forgot about the conshole-ized game save checkpoints.  That made me ragequit at one point, where I kept getting killed by a boss and had to keep playing through almost 10 minutes of stuff I already finished, over & over & over, just to get back to the boss fight.  >:(  That was the last time I played after that save checkpoint BS.

Wazhack, the heavily Nethack-inspired Roguelike, is on sale at Desura for $2.50.

..until the 29th.

It's a typically brutal Roguelike, with lots of unknown items to find & figure out what their effects are (hopefully without bursting into flame or getting polymorphed into some wimpy creature, etc).  I've enjoyed making a few runs in a row to try & top the daily leaderboard in the past.  People's scores, categorized by various periods of time, are kept on the game's website for everyone who links their copy to it; that was a nice reference to see how well I was doing before my characters' inevitable deaths.  ;D

Speaking of.. I'm gonna go fire it up for a bit right now.

£1.99, i have the first game is this one any good?

From what I understood, it's got some of the same kind of gameplay... except they took out some of the kingdom management stuff.  Which is odd, because that was what people wanted more of in the first game's expansions (more open sandbox kingdom gameplay).  I've not tried this one yet, because of that, but at such a low price it may be well worth it.

Edit:  I also see the first KA series/collection on sale there, along with Zafehouse Diaries, and all the Warlock:MotA stuff in case anyone missed them on the holiday sales.

The overall consensus is that it wasn't as good as the first one, especially since it runs on rails more than its predecessor.  Unless you *really* liked the first one and hunger for more, I'd say skip it.
