The aliens have apparently brought their giant rodents along...or maybe they are giant rodentoid themselves:

Looks like the ISS caught some of their ships doing a flyby of Terra...  :o

During his time onboard, Major Peake said he once saw "three lights moving in formation", before they were joined by a fourth.
"We were perplexed, until we realised that what we thought were the far away lights of alien spaceships were actually very close small droplets," Major Peake told The Graham Norton Show.
"What was happening was liquid leaking out of a Russian probe vehicle, crystallising instantly and reflecting the light. What we were seeing was Russian urine."

I personally would prefer aliens.

In space, no one can hear you tinkle, but they can see it reflecting light?  #:-)

Inside the ISS there is sound.

https://www.nasa.gov/content/year-in-space-crew-will-drink-730-liters-of-recycled-urine-and-sweat

Water is a precious and limited resource in space, so International Space Station crew members recycle it whenever possible, including recycling their own urine. It only takes about eight days for the systems on the space station to process water. NASA astronaut Scott Kelly will consume about 730 liters of recycled urine and sweat during his yearlong mission.

If this leaks in to space if freezes and can reflect light from the Sun or from Earth.
