Trese Brothers soup up their top down Space Hulk-a-like

Interesting, but too little, too late I'm afraid. This would have been a sure hit before Space Hulk and Ascension came out...but now, I don't necessarily see the incentive.
It works on lower spec machines and mobile devices?

Could be, but isn't Space Hulk mobile too? At least, I know its on ios.
The campaign system is, iirc, more extensive than in any Space Hulk game so far. Plus it's much more mod friendly, allowing players to set up and share their own maps: something none of the Space Hulks so far allow, but which was (is) a key design component of the original board game.
You've always got the free game Alien Assault (http://www.teardown.se/) which is Space Hulk in everything but name. The gameplay follows 1st Edition. The 1st version was actually named Space Hulk but got a cease-and-desist from Games Workshop. There's mods for it that convert it back to SH and there's also an Aliens conversion which is pretty cool.
True, I often forget that Alien Assault isn't the same thing as Templar Assault (soon to be Battleforce).
This sort of reminds me of Ultimate Space Commando.

I'd probably get USC before this one. Seems to have a bit more content.
I actually plan on getting USC at some point, but it can wait for future seasonal sales.
This is out now, on Steam.

Not quite as puzzley as Legions of Steel
Still quite brutal. 2d top down, but looks pretty good.
A bit more info on building a Templar Battleforce team
The character customization looks nice.
How much are the missions "on rails"?
3 missions in and it's totally on rails. I'm still in the tutorial part of the game, so I'm hoping it will open up after that.

I haven't come out of the tutorial missions yet neither, but I think the above video says theres a skip to level 5 bypass option that gets you to the point where you 6 Templars and can begin the customisation proper - opening up the requisition tree. Presumably thats the point where the missions start opening up and the branching occurs?
The requisition tree opens up after the 2nd mission. At least it did for me.
Bump since they just released for mobile devices. Great reviews on steam. Anyone have further thoughts?
Well, looks like most complex Trese game so far and most expensive ;)
