^Server population is indeed still good and growing as of late.  The community is very active.  The devs have also decreased the grind to level up significantly and are going to be introducing a few new maps soon.

I think that is why I kinda enjoyed the bit of H&G I played after it's release.

Really reminded me of some old FPS multi-player games.  Back when you only needed a few hot keys and everything wasn't crammed into cramped alleys and buildings for CQB-time-all-the-time.   

Positive vibes.  My general aversion to WW2 shooters & wargames is what made me stray away, not any lack of enjoyment for the gameplay itself.
