I had a dream last night that I was in Marine Corps boot camp and Jarhead was my DI. I don't know what JH looks like, though, so in the dream he was a lot like R Lee Ermey. (Might have had something to do with him using R Lee as his avatar for a while)
No reveille was blown in the morning to wake the company up, and there were no alarms set. Wake up time depended solely on when JH happened to wake up. He slept in the compartment with the company and would "mash" anyone who was still asleep when he got up. If we happened to wake up between 6-7AM or so, we'd check how deeply he seemed to be asleep to gauge if we could get some more shuteye. If we miscalculated and still happened to be sleeping when he got up, JH would scream us awake and we'd be doing pushups before breakfast.
Ive met him. I would not like JH as my DI.
I had a dream where I was the witness in a police lineup and the lineup was composed of cows. One cow did look rather shady.
All I can say is we both need to watch what we eat before bedtime ::)

........ I would not like JH as my DI.
You say that like it's a bad thing.

...DI stands for drone (flying-gadget) instructor, right ;)
I've gotta give you credit,
Ubercat: I've had some mighty weird dreams the past couple days, but I'm pretty sure yours still tops any of the ones I've had. :P

Pffffhht! That's nothing.
When I was little, maybe 7 years old, I had the corker of all weird dreams. I still remember it to this day. In the dream, my mother woke me up early in the morning and said "Get up, sleepyhead! Today is a special day and you don't want to miss it!" I asked what was so special about the day and she told me "Today is the day that the little blue people are coming to tear our house down and then build it back up again!" I was confused, but got up and followed her out of the house.
A short while later, a column of little blue people marched up, blue clothes, blue caps, pointy blue beards, all carrying blue tools. Picture blue dwarves but with sharper beards. My mother and all the neighbors started singing
We love them because they tear our house down and then they build it back up again!
We love them because they tear our house down and then they build it back up again!
over and over.
Meanwhile, the blue people went into overdrive and deconstructed our house in about a minute. The roof, all the boards, pipes, appliances, etc were lying in heaps all over the place. Then they rebuilt the house with all the same parts, just as fast, while the people kept singing. This happened several times in quick succession before the dream ended.

So how much cough syrup DID your mom give you to help you sleep? :coolsmiley:
Overdosed on Papa Smurf and Gargamel?
It was probably the medicinal Jimson Tea.

Overdosed on Papa Smurf and Gargamel?
My childhood predates the Smurfs. If I were 7, the dream happened in '75.
