Here's some loud noise to start your weekend off \m/ \m/ \m/
It's going to be Warlock: Master of the Arcane until I either control enough Holy Grounds or I piss off a god bad enough for him to send an avatar to whoop me. Good luck with that ;)
AoW 3 and Civ 6 PBeM for sure.
Then as time allows X4 Foundations to keep working on galactic domination!
Some Warframe for sure (I Love that game!)
And Red Dead Redemption 2 which has totally captured me!
It's hard choosing where to spend my time atm with three super fun games.
Finally! Someone else steps up and does a Friday thread!
Going to be X4. I'm pretty hooked...in between, CMSF2, Just Cause 4, Battlefleet Gothic 2 beta and hopefully some ARMA 3. Busy, busy...
Drat, I was going to post a whole 2-1/2 Christmas rock opera... Oh well, next week perhaps.
Aside from the ongoing GROGPUBLIC...
* Still chugging along on my multiplayer game of Age of Wonders 3: Eternal Lords with Ysk. We still hadn't run across each other yet as of my prior tun.
* Time to learn to navigate my He-111 in IL-2 SturmKriegMosc!
* Watching for dawn movement in the forum Kriegspiel.
* Anyone starting a Pacific war thingy today, the day that will live in infamy? :coolsmiley:
* Not really sure what else yet.
Star Citizen
Steel Division 1 now that I am hyped for 2
War of Rights
I'd like to get some post scriptum in
Maybe some naval action... if nobody is online maybe some command air naval or DCS
Going Movin' to the country, Gonna eat a lot of peaches
While there I plan on some;
Armored Brigade
TTS (if I can get assets to load)
Maybe finally try to play HoI4 (such a chore for me to get into)
TW:WH (played a bit but hoping it's not as repetitive as it may seem)
But for sure going to play some boardgames with the missus. Not much of a gamer herself, she really enjoys a couple that we play together, mainly Clank! Hopefully I have the rules down good enough for Arkham Horror LCG. Constant rule referrals kills the mood.
So basically a chill weekend at out cabin with the woodburner going, good food (smoking a couple whole birds) and some relaxation. This economy has me having the beat year of work ever and time off is at a premium. I am turning down side work left and right. Let's hope it continues.
Busy weekend for me.
What time I get I would like to spend with Vicky 2, Spiderman, and maybe some light builders.
"If it walks like a Duck": Playing some more Mutant Year Zero. Maybe some CMSF2 and I need to actually play some Armored Brigade. Also, need to update Star Citizen and work on my weapon load-outs for my continued A-B fighter testing between my Sabre and Super Hornet. Delaying buying X4 as I've already got too many new games to devote quality time to as it is.

[YouTube embed thingy is wonky on my end - its Country Joe McDonald at Woodstock]
Sums up my plans perfectly - loves me some Rising Storm 2 I do.
Stay safe all, and see you out there in the bush!
More BF5 this weekend especially since the release of the Tides of War patch. https://www.battlefield.com/news/tides-of-war-begin-with-your-company-battlefield-5 (https://www.battlefield.com/news/tides-of-war-begin-with-your-company-battlefield-5).
Just picked up SC WW2 World at War. I'm probably going to spend time lifting unit icons out of it and putting them into the GD1938 mod for Advanced Tactics Gold. Maybe get some playtime in with SC but we'll see.
Last but not least I've got Twilight Imperium 4 on my table that I need to give some love to.
Building my Trade Empire in X4... then turn pirate syndicate warlord.
Also some Stellaris MegaCorp and see what is new.

3.4 is with Evocatii. Should go to wider PTU within the next week!

Yeah it's really tough with this particular game to find a real opponent to play with who is local. But that's par for the course with our hobby :)
I think there is a Table Top Simulator workshop item that has a decent TI4 module. I could do a quick training session if anyone is curious or interested in learning the game.
I think that was JH hitting on you.
Going to Cape May NJ with The Wife for a quick weekend getaway, so no gaming.
I did finish my Empire: TW Warpath campaign a few days ago...my Iroquois faction was destroyed. By the Cherokee, no less! Shamefrur dispray indeed.
Still playing AssCreed Unity - and enjoying it very much.
Reinstalled Napoleon: Total War with the Darthmod - may start a game as Sweden or Russia.
Going to dive in to some Pike and Shot campaigns as well.
With my new schedule, I finally have the weekends off
I just bought Armello on sale at Steam--so I want to try it out this weekend. I also bought Germany at War: Barbarossa 1941 and Close Combat: Last Stand Arnhem from the Matrix Games Holiday Sale. Those prices were too good to pass up. If there is enough time I will try playing around with GaW.
I'm tempted to get the new Battle Brothers Beasts & Exploration DLC but may wait until it (hopefully) shows up on the Steam Winter Sale.
I am also tempted to buy Strategic Command WWII: World at War but I am leaning towards waiting until more reviews come out and also perhaps show up on the Steam Winter Sale.

Slap and Tickle, Hide the Pickle doesn't count as gaming? ???
If I just get to take a nap I will be ecstatic!
Groggy - post impressions of you can on Germany at War, I just bought it too.

Same here sort of...may be up at the farm making sure the woodstove is doing its best since big power outages seem likely in Western NC...if all goes well...I'll be back down in the manbasement in Boone playing RomeII (the lastest DLC) and maybe seven-years war or even (boardgame WWI): Bloody April.
Warframe - of course!
X4: Foundations - continuing to grow my empire
Artifact - maybe I will actually win a game this weekend!
When not watching football and taking care of honey doos

Well I do have to play hard to get you know. I'm cheap but not easy. ;D
But I'd love to play TI4 with JH if he were to say get the game. I'm only a 2.5 hour drive away.

Yeah...I'm about an hour east of the City. :-\
That's not too bad. We should round up some of the other members who live in the general area and meet up in Connecticut someplace and make a day out of it.
Unfortunately the man cave is under renovation, so no gaming on the Obutto cockpit this weekend. Thus I'll be missing out on IL-2 online (next weekend, I promise!) and sticking to stuff I can play on the old lappy.
Not sure what yet...leaning towards a Total War title. Rome 2?
More Mutant Year Zero if I can find the time. I like it so far. The post-apocalyptic theme/art is great and it sticks close to the RPG, at least so far.
Not much gaming for me. My hard drive conked out last week, my partner gave me his spare though and I'm still putting games on it. So for me it's siege, total war Atilla and trying to figure out the arma warlords game mode. Also got an interview on Tuesday for an admin position for an r&d boss in a cosmetic company!

Exciting. That sounds like a major star citizen patch.
P.S. I ended up playing stellaris until 4am with two buddies. We had megacorps going. A friend was opening branches in my systems... but it cost him energy credits per month.
Good luck Hof...from your posts here we can see it has not been an easy few months.
Quiet day today of pool-cleaning and kicking the Italians out of East Africa in TOAW 4. I'm thinking the pool will be the tougher fight.

Yer in the "Deep South" there. Go west about 20 minutes and it's like a whole 'nother State
That said i now live spitting distance from PA.
It's definitely Deep South for me. Beautiful for holiday time, though.
My brother-in-law got married in Cape May. We stayed at Congress Hall. Must be quiet this time of year...
^ Heh, small world. My wife and I got married at Hereford Lighthouse, which I believe is on the Wildwood/Cape May border.

So far I've played the tutorial for GaW. It was a straightforward tutorial scenario of having to destroy some Russian infantry and occupying a 'Target A' town hex. It was a very simple scenario where you selected a combination of tiger and air units, although I'm not quite sure yet how support units work in the game. I like the UI and the graphics look pretty crisp. I also like the contrast and colors of the map, although I've only seen the tutorial map thus far. One feature I like in the game system is that adjacent friendly units to an attacking friendly unit reduce an enemy unit's defense.
A few screenshots of the tutorial scenario are attached.

As much as I like Panzer General successors, WHY DO I KEEP FORGETTING THIS GAME EXISTS -- AND I'VE ALREADY GOT IT?!!? :pullhair:
Dl'd last November's patch and applied...
Lots of Combat Mission Shock Force 2 for me since it's official release this week. Having lots of fun with it so far.
I also reinstalled Stellaris and have been playing around with the new update, though I didn't pick up the new megacorp DLC. I didn't like Stellaris when I first got it a year or so ago, but I'm having more fun with it now with all of the cumulative changes/improvements.
On a whim I gave the demo of Factorio a try, and bought the game an hour or so later. I've known about it for a while now but it never seemed too interesting to me. Boy was I wrong. I've been having a lot of fun with that as well. It's been a three way tie between these titles for my attention the past few days. I guess Christmas came early.
Thanks Groggy - looking forward to firing up Germany at War.
Walked through Congress Hall yesterday - it's set up with a Xmas carnival and overrun with little kids!
They've tried to make Cape May a holiday destination and somewhat succeeded, but it's not totally overrun, which I like. Defintely different from summer.
Little late to this party, but Fallout 4, Stellaris w/Megacorps, and of course Shock Force 2. Had some issues installing but BF's support people got me up and running within 10 minutes of ticket being sent.

Incidentally, I just discovered that the developers
did produce another game in the series, released on Steam late August last year:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/606950/Army_General/
The campaign is North Africa this time. It's normally US$20.
