I'm out of hospital for now, having had an ultrasound earlier today. The stone is approx. 7mm x 5mm so may take another shot to break it up. If it shifts again, I will immediately have to go in again, and if all else fails, then they will use surgery to remove it.

It is incredibly painful, and I have had them before - 25 years ago - although they passed through within a couple of days.

So fingers crossed the treatment works as I sure as hell do not want to go through that again!
