I'm not quite sure about how his military career began, I'm trying to figure out what I need to do and who I need to talk to to get his full service record.

He was a Ranger initially but then joined the Special Forces and was a member of an adviser team in Vietnam as part of Project GAMMA  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_GAMMA  He served 3 tours in Vietnam before serving in Pakistan and then he retired in Okinawa.

He had some fascinating stories...all of which I wrote down.

Gusington

Wow that is a long intense career.

Oops I've only just seen this thread!  I hope all goes well Republic, when the little man finally decides he's bored of being indoors all day. :)

Our first, a girl, was a 19-hour labour.  My lady wouldn't dilate past 3cm and the drugs to induce weren't working.  Eventually, because there was no amnion left, the docs decided she had to come out, so an emergency c-section was performed.  All went very smoothly.  To my great astonishment, she was born exactly four minutes into the procedure!  And her very first act was to have a massive shit on the floor. :D

The boy was lazy.  He showed absolutely no signs of coming so, two weeks after the due date, we went in for an elective c-section.  Again, everything went smoothly and the docs also helped themselves to a bit of uterine wall for research (they did ask first).  They were researching what happens to the uterus during labour/childbirth to generally promote understanding of the process.  My lady was very happy to help. :)

For some reason she's irritated that she hasn't given birth naturally.  I think I'd have been just fine with that, myself...

We're still waiting.  Our insurance is crap or they'd already induced I'm sure...  I'd like cousin Eddy do to the insurance company CEO's what he did to Clark's boss...

GDS_Starfury

keeping our fingers crossed for ya.
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

Argh, that stinks republic.  I know it's gotta be driving you guys crazy to wait like this, but try to hang in there, and know that we've all got you in our thoughts.
