This was the AFV kit with Eduard Etch, some after market ammo. The few AFV Kits I built were awesome detail wise!.. Every now and then they may have fit issues or the like, but again, the detail was/is awesome.

On of my friends (who happened to be an ex tanker and is an expert modeler) his oldman actually served on one of these during WW2 and he was upgraded to an M36 Jackson at the end of the war. I remember going over to his house as a kid and being amazed at all the paraphernalia he brought back from the war (guess tankers could store a lot of stuff to carry)

Kit came with a metal barrel!

This tool that the parts are laying on is a must have if you get into photo etch. It helps you make those perfect bends.

Primer coat

Interior fitted painted, washed.. the straps I used the foil from the top of wine bottles (knew someday drinking would come in handy).

Same with the ammo straps

Prime the rest of the kit

Some Black pre-shading

Base Coat

Tools added

Future Coat applied ready for weathering

Finished

By this time I had gotten powders, used to apply them with the airbrush.
