Cracking A Beer For Your Farewell Speech

One term (defeated) Rep. Joe Cunningham (D) of Charleston, SC cracked a beer on the House Floor during his farewell speech.

It is traditional that when a House or Senate member either retires, resigns, or is defeated they get to have a farewell speech.

Personally, I'm proud of Joe and will lift a glass of Scotch to you tonight in hopes that your future endeavors are happy!
