I have to say it really took me by surprise. I always got a kick outta Jim - sent him a couple of games on one occasion and he was a grateful and witty guy. I noticed in the Facebook posting that he and his wife were born 4 days apart and died 4 days apart.

Great guy and he will be missed!

That's too young, my Dad passed at 67, didn't even get to enjoy retirement.

I was surprised & sorry to hear this news. I always read his reviews and usually found if Jim liked the game, I'd like the game.
He'll be missed by the community.

Man part of my childhood just passed.  I can't tell you how important Computer Gaming World was to a city kid moves to the middle of no where Nebraska.  Always loved reading his articles.  Rest in Peace Jim.
