Title: Roddenbury's first choice for Spock

Had never heard a whisper of this.
Recall seeing Nimoy in a number of Untouchable episodes and Man fromUncle.  Cannot remember Lindsey from anything but Andy Griffith.
I guess he was a better actor than just the role of Goober, but he was so good at it that my brain cannot imagine him as a Vulcan.

Nimoy was a key Mission Impossible team member for a while, too.

The Needs of the many out-weigh the needs of the Goob. Aunt Bea would agree.

Nimoy's singing career sucked, though!

That's hilarious about Goober almost being Spock.  I'm still shocked that "Cooter" from The Dukes of Hazzard ended up as a U.S. Congressman for the better part of two decades.

There was a time in my life I would've voted Daisy for anything.  :dreamer:

That's funny. I should say the same but I never found her very attractive. Same with Farrah Fawcett. (shrug smiley)
