Played a little more this morning. Wow. The tactical combat is really fantastic. Very challenging and exciting. I didn't think I was going to really like the time mechanic, but I actually love it. It provides for as a surprisingly deep tactical/strategic experience.

stop posting good things.....the last thing I need is another new game on my list.

I think it would be justifiable to hold off for now being that it is very early access. However, it is extremely polished and I am really enjoying it. There is one battle that I keep trying to win as efficiently as possible, but I keep taking unacceptably heavy damage on my 2 precious mechs. As a result, I keep replaying it to get a better result. It's that enjoyable. Also, every time I replay it, the starting locations of the initial forces is randomized, as is the composition of the enemy group. This definitely helps keep it interesting too.

You cant say to hold off then follow it up by saying how great and enjoyable it is:)

I am sure it will make it into my library at some point....

Totally hooked now. I replayed that battle and finally got a decisive victory. So God damn rewarding. My two mechs making a stand against 3 mechs and 2 heavy tanks, using time to our advantage to bob and weave through buildings to maximize cover, surprise and firepower. All around awesomeness.

My brain latched onto "Red Dawn with GIANT WOLVERINES!!", and now I kind of want that game.
