If I can swing it, I'd like to at least sit in on the game.  Still working my way through the manual.

I'll be home at around 10:00 CST Sunday, I can drop in and answer any rules questions if you like.

I'm in the same boat so we can muddle through it together.  What time works for you?

Once Bison and I work out a time you can arrive like an omnipotent god of ASL.

We got our wires crossed. We are going to try again later in the week or maybe this weekend.  He's in Alaska and I'm East Coast so the window is small.

My Sunday evening is free if you guys are up to it?

S2 is a good scenario that will exercise your use of the fire principles.  It's a tough scenario for the Germans who have to make use of covering fire and smoke in order to dash across streets under Russian fire.  It can be a frustrating scenario for the Russians however if they keep missing their roll for the random reinforcements. S2 always seems to come down to a final close combat or two.

Sorry gentlemen looks like Sunday is out for me.  I've been volunteered to BBQ for a gathering that Household 6 is organizing.

No worries.  Enjoy the BBQ.

GJK,

Do you still want to get together?  I'm game if you are.

I'm thinking that I'll slip the gym tonight; Mondays are always crazy any ways, so I can get in a turn or maybe two tonight.  I should be home at 6:30 my time (7:30 yours?).

Sorry Gary, just got the message.  Tonight is not going to work on this end.  Dinner, homework and packing for a business trip.  Maybe Wednesday night?

Buggers....the rest of my week is taken.  School work here as well plus gym and long work hours.  I have my boys Friday and Saturday night but probably Sunday again if that works for you.

Alternatively, we could move our game to Pbem if you feel that you're comfortable enough with the rules at this point.  I can give you some Pbem tips if that interests you.  If you're not ready for that at this time, then let's shoot for Sunday.

I'm certainly willing to try PBEM.  Let's give it a whirl.  Luckily this scenario does not have a ton of complexity.

I've started to write some instructions.  I get long winded when I do that but it covers the full details.  I'll have to finish those up though - only got about 1/2 through.

I've attached a pdf from the Bonzai! publication that talks about ASL Pbem via VASL.  I simply the naming of my log files however as I'm mentioning in my detailed instructions.  This pdf though will give you a very brief overview of how it goes.
