That's cool. The site indicates that the ambulance mockup was originally used in building a Puma-based Hind replica. IIRC, that setup was what was used in the original Red Dawn flick, and possibly a Rambo movie.

Nowadays you can rent a real Hind. Not that any blockbuster movie studio would- they are too enamored of CGI aircraft that can defy gravity and aerodynamics if either the plot or director's whim requires it.
