To be fair, depending on how much I didn't like CGI space stations, I wouldn't have gotten much out of B5 or DS9. (For example, I can't stand medical dramas, and so never got much out of House, even though I can recognize and respect its quality.)

I don't think DS9 was CGI :P

And one didn't really watch House for the medical drama. You watched it to see Hugh Laurie chew scenery.
