Tabletop gamers never struck me as champagne drinkers... now if that was bourbon....

For gallows humor though, wish I could channel an engineer, Larry Tuohey.  He had the driest sense of humor.
One time he was going down a path and thinking the area was clear, told a joke about twenty Greeks crossing a stream, but only one got his equipment wet.
At that moment, a mortar round passed overhead and exploded twenty yards away.
