At least it isn't a spider, Martok.  :))

Found on the floor of a West Tennessee factory this morning.

It's about an inch long (scale is hard to tell from the photos), and walks and runs with a wiggly motion like a lizard -- the guys thought it was a small lizard at first.

It has six legs so it's probably an insect, but I don't know that all six-legged exoskeleton thoraxy things are insects.

The head is at the top of each picture; the two long things which look like antenna are the tail. (Well, probably not the "tails" per se, but the hind end.)

The outer shell seems rather soft; it definitely has grey fuzz like a spider might.

I thought at first it was a cave cricket of some kind, but it does have eyes. Then again, they're not all blind (right?). We don't have cave systems in this part of Tennessee either, though of course it could have hitched a ride from Middle TN or Middle KY.

It cannot climb plastic, or not wet plastic anyway -- I have it captured currently in a Propel bottle (with a few knife slices at the top to allow a little air.)
