Looks interesting. Are you going to write a review?
Well, I did get it given the stellar reviews it had. A new genre for me since I haven't tried anything like this since the first AOE. Everything seems to happen so fast. :)
I think the learning curve is going to be bigger for me being somewhat new to this genre.
The onscreen help text is a little small (for older eyes), but then once you learn the icons, you don't really need that. (iPad2; so one could expect some additional crispness on the iPad3)
In the forums, the lack of a manual was criticized. I, also, would have appreciated a well written PDF, but the idea is that the first steps in the campaign act as a tutorial.
So far, so good.
One other irritation, from the a PC, access to the forums require a social networking account. However, you can get into them directory from the game/iPad.
Still working on the single player campaign. I think WEGO games. Are more my thing. Or pausable RTS. I tried one online game. It reminded me a lot of C&C Red Alert.
There was a new update today, but I haven't looked to see what's in it. I have to check the release notes later.
Some good improvements:
* Greater zoom so you can actually see the combat.
* Some more informative messages.
* A novice mode to help noobs like me.
It isn't bad but I prefer Time of Heroes and Ravenmark.
