I love the idea of Indiana Jones games but I've never been a big fan of the execution of any of them.

I honestly don't remember for sure but I don't think I have ever played any of them.

I was pretty okay with the Fate of Atlantis, but I liked other SCUMM system games better.

Have there been any Indiana Jones games past the NES era?  I recall a super old pixellated Indiana Jones game from the days when you would just plaster some cool artwork on the front and add two extra pixels to the character's head and call him a "spaceman" or "cowboy" or whatever.

It makes no difference what men think of war, said the judge.  War endures.  As well ask men what they think of stone.  War was always here.  Before man was, war waited for him.  The ultimate trade awaiting its ultimate practitioner.  That is the way it was and will be.  That way and not some other way.

If they made nothing but WWII games, I'd be perfectly content.  Hypothetical matchups from alternate history 1980s, asymmetrical US-bashes-some-3rd world guerillas, or minor wars between Upper Bumblescum and outer Kaboomistan hold no appeal for me.

I guess it's sort of nice that the word "tactical" seems to refer to some kind of seriousness during your moments of mental clarity.
