Interesting story of Wehrmacht troops joining US troops to save prisoners from the SS.

Would make a great movie....

It would indeed make a great movie...but once Hollywood gets a hold of it, they'll add an impossibly beautiful woman to create a love triangle between a US soldier and a German soldier and her...they'll add a Chinese storyline somehow to pander to the Asian market...they'll perhaps get two out of five facts correct...the swastika will be removed from all SS uniforms to avoid offending anybody in the audience...Major Gangl will be portrayed by Tom Cruise in platform boots...they'll add paratroops, jet bombers, and very likely Captain America too. So, they'd find a way, actively, to f&ck it up.
