More Total War: Shogun2 this weekend. I'd like to get past the Chosokabe Campaign Tutorial and get into the actual game. Loving the game so far. (well...so far as the tutorials. ::))
Also, will be playing more The Divison 2.

Have a Happy Mother's Day weekend, Grogs! Be good and safe.

Being off from my red-shirt retail job today, Ive been mostly  just playing Stellaris 2.6.3  - My Terran Federation found itself in a  unique position of being boxed in by three major races that didn't quite like us. Since we were hopeless outnumbered in Fleet Strength, I just decided to focus on my economy, colonies, and research.  Paid off. It's 2330(?)  A lot of empires have been shattered into smaller nameless entities- its a reported bug. What's happening is the bigger empires get broken by rebellion or whatever, and then you see these empires with no names, just "The." and worse they have no civics or ethics so its even harder to diplomatically deal with.  The Galactic Assembly and Market were both put into place before 2300, but the Terrans, with a few races decided they need to form a Federation. So they did. I get to see how the new Federation mechanics work.   But I have cruisers coming online, my planets are doing very well - except unemployment (UGH). But its fun watching the bigger empires tear each other to shreds.

There is a huge patch to drop on Tuesday (Wells) for Stellaris 4 year anniversary. So they expect to have that bug fixed.

Aside from that its been MST3k on Twitch- mostly watching that.

I go back tomorrow. but I'm off after Tuesday till Saturday.  :)

Seriously if you do go out, be smart and safe. Have a great Mother's Day weekend !

Just some more of my Stellaris (2.1.3) campaign.  Looking forward to the 2.7 ("Wells") update next week, especially with the re-work to edicts and space creatures.

Thrones of Britannia is on deck as well.  Slowly continuing my Gwined campaign to (re)establish the Kingdom of Wales!

Anguille do let us know what you think about Astra Exodus.  I recently removed it from my wishlist because it does look to be a bland game.
Seconded.  I really wanted to like the game during the beta, but just could not get into it.

I'll probably play some Imperium Galactica II and Hereos & Generals.  I'm also expecting to get Dark Souls: Remastered for PS4 delivered to me tomorrow.  I'm preparing to cry and praise the sun simultaneously!
Man, I need to get back into Imperium Galactica II again one of these days.  It's an underappreciated gem; would love to see a proper sequel.

Sounds like a good time.  O0  Hoping I can finally experience something similar next week!

Yep.  From the most recent dev diary (which includes the 2.7 patch notes):

* Fix Empire without a name and civics created due to revolt.

Well, although I played better this week with Imperium Galactica II then I did when it first came out I still got my butt whooped.  This is a hard game even on 'normal' difficulty.  But it really is a gem.  I'd be happy with a modernizing of the UI and not touching anything else.  It's that good of a game.

Yeah, I ended up playing IG2 on the Easy difficulty setting last time I looked at it.  It's nice when the AI knows how to play the game.  O0

A visual upgrade and UI revamp would be great, but I would love bigger maps and more/improved factions as well.  (It's always hard for a game to feel "epic" with galaxies of less than 100 stars...)

Oh yeah the AI definitely knows how to play this game.

I agree with you on the larger galaxies and more/improved factions.

Same here...the game badly needs a sequel...the android edition is very handy when i am in the train.
