Emma Peel - the first that is - rocked, in black and white.

But she was such a disappointment in the Bond film, well the whole film was a disappointment. I saw the Dutch gala première as an 11 year old in Amsterdam in the fancy Tushinsky Theatre, father of a friend had connections, then it turned out to be the worst Bond film ever. Well, at least Mrs. Bond died then.

Diana Rigg's star shone so bright as Emma Peel at the time, but I would advice against viewing the show again, it is much better in our memory.

I didn't know this was the same actrice.   I will not search for pictures of Emma Peel as my recollection probably is superior to the real thing.

Sad news.

I still find her stunning in the Avengers. Perfect girlfriend. Not sure if i would enjoy the show as much as i did but it's a chance i would take.

The problem with the Bond movie was the fairly weak male actor (at least compared to Sean Connery and Roger Moore).

We have the Emma Peel Avengers episodes on DVD.  We still enjoy them.  But we also enjoy Johnny Quest, Wild Wild West and others.

Dianna Rigg and Maureen O'Hara were the two actresses' I found very hot that were much older than me back when I was a kid.

I wanted her as my girlfriend and my wife wanted to be her when we were growing up.

Yep.  Love still animates the old fart.

For me it was Barbara Eden's Genie. That outfit was so low, I could almost see a navel peaking-out from time to time.  :D

I have empathy for your point of view.

Hey, back when I was young, I never knew girls had belly-buttons. I thought just guys did. Then I peaked at my first Playboy and realized they had a lot more than navels I didn't know about.  :coolsmiley:

I hope you didn't peak at just the first Playboy, son.

They had staples in the middle ?

I was shocked. I thought the magazine was about rabbits.  :o
