here's the most ridiculous thing about that game: 7-1 doesn't fully do justice to Germany's utter domination of that game.  Germany shanked 3-4 they should've had, and Brazil's goal was waaaay late, and was marked by stunning defensive indifference by Ozil and Hoewedes.  The only more indifferent defenders on the pitch were Brazilian.

...the only thing raining on my parade is ....that it is actually raining on my parade!  ;)
its cold and raining cats n dogs the whole day and unfortunately it didn't stopped after the match, so no beloved Autokorso for me (you need open convertibles and people hanging out of other cars windos and sitting out of open sunroofs 'n such ... and a large crowd on the sidewalks and crossings too) so i stayed at the EOs place and watch the intervies and stuff   ...also the EO was against shooting the rockets i saved from newyears eve from her balcony into the night sky, a law infraction of course ...we will watch the final at my place and then it will be salvo cakes firework instead of rockets i release downtown ;-)
