Hello folks,

I have a blog in which I play old wargames, and sometimes I encounter games with no manual on Internet, or at least no high-quality manual.

I am currently looking for the Manuals for Southern Command and for Torpedo Fire, if anyone has them. I only found .doc manual, which is sufficient for Torpedo Fire (but I would love to check the real one), and a bit less so for Southern Command.

Given there is no dedicated thread to find manual, I can just as well have this thread serves this purpose, so if YOU are looking for some manuals for old old games, please say so :).

If you're talking about two old Apple II games,  you can find their documentation (in doc form) on this page.

The files also contain the dsk versions of the games.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, actually I had that one - I was really looking for the PDF. Oh, thanks anyway.

Easy enough these days to convert a .doc file to .pdf format.  I can do it if you like. LMK, post here.

Ah, never mind.  I see the .doc file is missing graphics, so I'm guessing you want a complete text/graphics PDF.

Hello,

Just pushing this up to state that I got a Southern Command manual... from Roger Keating himself.

I uploaded it here : https://archive.org/details/southern-command-ssi-roger-keating

Only Napoleon's Campaign by SSI (not any other Napoleon game, or AGEOD's Napoleon Campaign) to go :).

I own Napoleon's Campaigns (SSI) in the original box with all the contents.
What exactly do you need?

What I would LOVE is a scan of the manual + reference cards.

Ideally, it would be great to upload it on Archives.org (for instance what I just did with Keating's version of Southern Command, with his agreement)  so it is lost by no one, but else if you could send it to me....  :smitten:

Sending it to you was exactly what I had in mind.

I am starting to play Napoleon's Campaigns for real.
I am also checking what comes next, and if someone would have the manual for Road to Gettysburg (which plays a lot like Napoleon's Campaigns apparently) and / or Pursuit of the Graf Spee, I would love it !
