Fallout New Vegas suggested Mods?

Has anyone played a modded Fallout New Vegas?

If so, what Mods do you recommend for:
1] Increasing the stability of the game.
2] Adding new encounter areas
3] Adding Quests

I have the Steam Game of the Year version.

I've been looking around, but would appreciate any first hand experience anyone is willing to share.

I don't have the game but these are the top mods on Nexus :

One of them is NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash (Implements structured exception handling and sanity checking to reduce frequency of game crashes).
