I voted for the Book/Mag because I love to read Sword/Shield books and mags. And the Compass Rose because it is, indeed, neat.

So you're looking for custom icons? I'm currently working on Federation Space 2 counters, but if you post an existing example here I might find some free time to get creative.

looks cool. I was planning on just the x-sabres w/o the hex, and make them a little thicker.
