Could we have an option to turn them off please? They make the screen shot area in posts even smaller so have to side scroll more.
we're working on the settings to keep them compact, but they're likely staying put, especially the one for the front page article feed. hang on and let us tweak a bit

I refreshed shortly after the updates started and the post updates that are now at the top were on the side. I liked it better there.
