Anyone own this? Their Falklands Game was very well received and now costs you a decent lottery win to own.

This looks very intriguing aswell.

It looks interesting, and the guy behind it certainly has the credentials to back up his work. On the other hand, it's $140 at the only North American store that stocks it. I'm curious, but I'm not THAT curious.

Yeah his games are expensive but the components are supposed to be amazing quality. Also when it goes out of stock then double that figure for second hand. They are a small firm and haven't made reissues yet. Check out the price for their Falklands game!

See it as a good investment! Or buy two, then sell one as mint when it's sold out in shops and you'd get your money back for both. Thus getting it free.

I mean it comes with 50! yes 50! geomorphic boards, thats just for the tactical battles.

Last Wednesday I drove up to DC to hear a talk from Dr Sabin about wargaming.  You can find the info over here

He had a copy of Lost Battles with him that I was able to rifle through a little bit. It's an awesome package.  It almost feels like there are 8 games in there.  If the topics are in your wheelhouse, then it's probably a good buy.

Well, maybe. I've had to put my board game buying on hiatus for the moment, though. Need to play what I have.

Oh, and it's 50 5 inch square double sides tiles that the boards are built from, not 50 boards. Still awesome, and doesn't weigh 700 pounds.  ;D
