The 5 Star Movement has allied with the anti-immigration League party to form a government.

Admittedly, you can wake up most any day and Italy has a new government.  But this is a brand new coalition with a hard anti-immigration platform.

And it could only be created with support on the side from Berlusconi, which will presumably mean the 5 Star Movement won't try to get the strict anti-corruption legislation in place that they've promised during the campaign. Berlusconi would otherwise be a barn-sized target for prosecutors.
