Awesome work LB!  I understand the hesitancy to make smoke coming out of the building but I think it would really add to the piece.  You could just do a thin layer at the base of the smoke so you can still see through it into the house.  As for transporting it to games, its cotton and you can just tease it up once you get it on the table.

I've had several people comment on adding smoke - so much so that I guess it just needs to be done. I may have to work on it tonight.

LB here are a couple links I was able to find in my huge collection of bookmarked sites for wargaming that may be of some help or at least give you some ideas.

Thanks!

Any ideas where I can find some French buildings? I'm trying to wrap my head around the color for some damaged buildings in Normandy.

I've started work on my Haqqislam and ALEPH forces for the Si-Fi skirmish game called Infinity.

DV8's been trying to get me into the game forever. The minis just don't grab me, but maybe if the game is good enough I'll jump in. Lord knows I owe him big time for the investment he made in Star Fleet Battles.

It's a Spanish company by the name of Corvus Belli.  They also do historical minis.  I would say the minis definitely have an Anime feel.

I cheat and dip them.

It looked like the dark wash with all that gloss. Planning on dull coating them?

Yes.  I need to find a better matte finish since the Valspar gets cloudy.
