Wonder how the insurance companies & banks deal with something like this? If any of the owners had mortgages, do they still need to pay for land that no longer exists?  :-\

This is how you get those freaky tsunamis in the fjords sometimes, too, on a much larger scale. There's a micro-tsunami going on mostly offscreen to the right of the frame on the other side of the cove, as an example: water gets dragged out away from the shore and then comes rushing back (which is better seen in frame at that point, as the cameraman swivels to follow the main destruction.)
