Does anyone else have this problem?   EVERY time I log onto Steam I get updates of zero bytes for the Attila and Endless Space 2 workshops. Every time for MONTHS, even if I get on and off several time in 10 minutes or an hour. WTF? As far as I can tell, there are no actual updates happening. I am only subscribed to three or four items in each workshop, so they are easy to check. Is it some kind of attempted hacking?

I have ES2 but it has not attempted to do any updates in a long time.

I've seen it for years, but nothing nefarious has ever come from it yet. No idea why it happens.

I've seen this before as well.  0 byte updates.  Seems to happen in spurts.  Haven't seen it in a while.  Not really helpful...sorry.

I saw it on my own machine a few years back.  After six months it went away.  I think it has something to do with distribution/version control for some of the basic distributables that a lot of the Steam games use (DirectX, etc.).  If you Google it, you can find a zillion threads like this:

I've also seen it for years and a few times in the last few weeks with no negative impact that I can see.
