Don't have a specific recommendation. But you might try browsing the collection of 18th century miniature rule sets at Wargamer Vault (if you haven't done so already).

I will be curious to see what rules you settle on.

Chance, I know you are looking for a miniature set of rules, but this may be of interest to you.

It is very pricey, in my opinion, but has a lot to offer.  A couple of folks have adapted the scenarios to miniature games, so it may be a starting point?

Ben King had a really neat set of rules, Fusil and Fortress, that was very detailed.  I liked them because of the very complete siege rules.  Finding this may be difficult.

A simple, fast play set of rules is Corporal John.   https://miniaturewargaming.com/blog/tag/marlborough/
"Most gods throw dice, but Fate plays chess, and you don't find out until too late that he's been playing with two queens all along".  Terry Pratchett.

During filming of Airplane, Leslie Nielsen used a whoopee cushion to keep the cast off-balance. Hays said that Nielsen "played that thing like a maestro"

Tallulah Bankhead: "I'll come and make love to you at five o'clock. If I'm late, start without me."

"When all other trusts fail, turn to Flashman." — Abraham Lincoln.

"I have enjoyed very warm relations with my two husbands."
"With your eyes closed?"
"That helped."  Lauren Bacall

Master Chiefs are sneaky, dastardly, and snarky miscreants who thrive on the tears of Ensigns and belly dancers.   Admiral Gerry Bogan.

The HollanderSpiel site is great!  and I think GMT is bringing out a Ben Hull game that extends his musket and pike games into
Neerwinden, July 29, 1693, War of the League of Augsburg.
