Never really had any Peyton hate. And I haven't paid enough attention to Cam to care one way or the other.

TBH, I probably won't watch the SB. I have little to no interest in either team.

I hate the pre-game hype, the halftime show, and don't understand the allure of the commercials.  Most of the commercials are horrible and do not make me want to buy a product.  I just want the 4 quarters of the game and the trophy presentation at the end.

Yeah, cause there's no overblown hype surrounding the World Series. You baseball nuts act like it's some kind of religious experience  ::)

I don't watch the hype.   I listen to it on the radio.  :P

Actually, I don't mind baseball on the radio.

It's baseball in its second most pure form.  The first being live and in person.

The one time I was at an MLB game I nearly died of boredom. I think I prefer watching auto racing live and that's sheer hell.

You clearly went with the wrong people.  I love live baseball, especially minor league or college/high school games.

Blasphemy!

The one time I was at an MLB game I nearly died of boredom. I think I prefer watching auto racing live and that's sheer hell.

That was my experience the one time I was at an MLB game as well.  Over three hours of my life that I'll never get back.  >:(

I will concede minor league games can be fun.  I've actually been to two Saint Paul Saints games, and enjoyed myself both times.

It's still a boring sport to actually watch, though.  :P

Wait, what's the difference between static hissing, and an MLB game, on the radio?

Static doesn't have commercials?

While an accurate riposte, I beg to disagree. Static is much more fascinating than commercials. Especially on the radio. I used to be big into listening to sports radio AM channels and talk shows, but the commercials got far too annoying after a time. I remember tracking the commercials during one hour segment of a show I particularly liked and it was something like 35 minutes of commercials versus 25 minutes of actual programming.  :crazy2:

I listen to AM sports talk occasionally. The number of commercials is insane. I usually end up turning it off after 20 minutes or so.
