History Buffs Review: Master and Commander
« on: September 18, 2016, 02:11:12 PM »
Nick Hodges (AKA History Buffs) delivers yet another great movie review.

I'm a huge fan of his channel and highly recommend it.
For Grogs, Geeks and history buffs it's definitely worth a visit.

That reminds me to check out his review of Zulu since I just saw that (and Zulu Dawn) for the first time a couple of weeks ago.  :smitten:
Dawn of Armageddon -- a narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse: The Hunt Begins: Insert Joke Here!

Strategic Werewolf Axe-chopping Simulator video AAR!

Survive Harder! In the grim darkness of the bowl there is only, um, Amazons. And tentacles and midgets. Not remotely what you're thinking! ...okay, maybe a little remotely.

PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Season One complete; Fantasy Wars AAR, lots of screenies.

The full pdf of Cry of Justice has been posted to the Grogheads Book category here.

Crowe is still hoping for a sequel and so am I! I just watched the movie again tonight.

"On his Twitter account, Master and Commander star Russell Crowe teased a possible Master and Commander sequel, and urged fans to voice their desire for further films to 20th Century Fox."

It would be interesting to see how a sequel would do.  I'm a big fan of the film (although I've not yet gotten around to reading the novels, ironically).

Very good and...subscribed. Thanks for the recommendation  O0

I do wish people (reviewers) wouldn't include views of the film being made - it really takes the magic out of a movie for me

I read all the books.  Perhaps the finest books I've ever read.

I have all 20 books, plus the unfinished 21st book. They have all been read multiple times. Absolutely fantastic series.

Havenít read the books (yet and changing that soon) but thought the movie was brilliant.
Insert witty comment here.
