I'm getting very close to finishing my FoW forces.  I've painted about 70% with the rest purchased already painted.  I had to take all my stuff out to rearrange my cases to make room for my new Soviet forces.  I thought it was a good opportunity to snap a few photos.

Left on my "to do" painting list:
18 - US Infantry Rifle Teams Stands
15 - T-34/85 obr 1943
3 - ISU-152
3 - SU-85
1 - Il-2M Tip 3M Shturmovik

I'm sure I'll have more to paint to feed my addiction.

Yet to be painted.

chuckle... All this was bought before the deck decided to fall apart.  I've had the Russian tanks since the winter but have been to busy (aka lazy) to assemble them.

Ah. So you've been sandbagging me. Fine. Get those Ruskies painted. I'm eager to break my HMGs out on your anthill.

Impressive display DV8.  How long has it taken you to paint all those?

Five Americans painted.  And yes I am a painfully slow minis painter...

Very nice!  Excellent work with the wash.

^I'll tell you what, if it wasn't for the dark wash I put on my figures ya'll would see how bad of a painter I really am.   ;D  Putting on the wash can cover some of the small mistakes and make the figures acceptable on the table.

That is an impressive output.  As a very slow painter I am a bit jealous.

Don't be.  As LB can attest to my painting is not that good.  Quantity over quality.  ;)

Belay that order.

DV8 is a minimalist painter, but he has the right eye for color. He's not much for detail, yet somehow his work always turns out well. Ask him for photos of his Britainian Dystopian Wars fleet for proof.

are those GHQ minis?

and a tip on the bent barrels. snip em off.  use a pin drill and replace with brass rod.
Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

The unpainted ones are Old Glory.  Thanks for the advise on the barrels.  Where to you get the brass rod?
