Retronaut: Photographic Time machine
« on: February 14, 2014, 02:15:52 PM »
Stumbled upon this website from a WOFF thread over on SimHQ.  Lots of interesting stuff here, like the Greneta Street Army (even though I "played" war as a kid, I found the photos a bit sad). Interior of the Hindenburg, Occupied Paris (1940), Construction of the USS Macon, and most importantly Gil Elvgren’s Pin-Up Girls: Before & after...and lots more.

::)  I see Bartheart already found this site way back

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.   Thomas Jefferson

During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.   George Orwell

If you ever find yourself in need of a safe space then you’re probably going to have to stop calling yourself a social justice warrior. You cannot be a warrior and a pansy at the same time.   Mike Adams
