Sounds good.
I noticed that their YouTube channel also debuted a few new game trailers today:
Stargate: Timekeepers
"In collaboration with leading entertainment company Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), Slitherine, a world leading producer and publisher of digital strategy games, is proud to announce that it will develop and publish Stargate: Timekeepers, the first-ever strategy PC game based on the fan favorite series, Stargate SG-1. Stargate: Timekeepers departs from the end of season 7 of the Stargate SG-1 main plot to create a wholly original story starting during the Battle of Antarctica, where Command Eva McCain and her team are tasked with supporting the SG-1 against Anubis's fleet. The aftermath of the battle sees Commander McCain and her squad face an epic adventure that spans multiple original locations. In Stargate: Timekeepers, players will travel through time and space, save civilians from the threats of their system lords, rescue their friends and allies from danger, and much more."
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector
"In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war. Experience every bone-rattling explosion and soul-crushing charge in Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, the definitive battle-scale game of turn-based strategy and fast-paced combat that takes you to the battlefields of the 41st Millenium."
Broken Arrow || Reveal Trailer
"Broken Arrow is a large-scale real-time modern warfare tactics game. The base game features both the American and Russian factions, more than 100 units and multiple deck specialisations per nation. Broken Arrow brings the genre to a whole new level by combining the complexity of a joint-forces wargame with the typical real-time tactics action-packed gameplay."
Master of Magic || Reveal Trailer (There is also a brief developer interview video about this one.)
"Take up the role of a great wizard, wield powerful spells, command fantasy races and challenge your rivals in this remake of a cult turn-based strategy classic. Do you have what it takes to become Master of Magic?"

I did see the MuHa video for Master of Magic - They are the team that did Thea: The Awakening and Thea II: The Shattering. Both are incredible in terms of art design, the use of Slavic mythology, stories etc. They got a good team for this. Art, UI looks good too. In one screen shot there's phantom warriors, Nagas etc. The city screen is impressive. But as I said they did Thea with a lot of impressive art. The face lift on our Wizards looks great too.
Broken Arrow looks interesting. But if the Starship Troopers RTS is anything to go off. It will not be competition for Eugen's similar offerings.
That is a 50/50 chance of the stargate RTS being good. The Black Labs boys are on it and it's slated as RTS. But they are also doing the turn based 40k game... which is strange given battlestar's WEGO style. So a bit confused where they will go with stargate.
Steam link is up for broken arrow though

I'm not sure unit customization will have a meaningful impact on the game. That will be impressive if they pull that off...otherwise, looking forward to see how amphibious and airborne operations pan out. Those are the only things truly lacking in the wargame series...otherwise, this is just like a wargame clone, right down to the battle decks.
From the steam forums;
"Not. This is a separate group of Russian guys, fans of the Wargame series. They were disappointed that these games did not have a sequel and therefore decided to create their own game. Someone from the former Eugen team works with them, but in general it is a completely different group of Russian enthusiasts."
I noticed that some Battle of Britain style of game is coming out, something turn based? Anyone have an idea on this one? I read it somewhere but forgot

Scramble: Battle of Britain
A simultaneous turn-based dogfighting game.
Set in a 3D airspace, the game features dynamic flight physics for the best and most realistic tactical combat experience. The Luftwaffe and RAF fighter squadrons go head-to-head over the English Channel. Competing players simultaneously issue control inputs for multiple aircraft while time is paused.

WEGO then? If so I am so freakin parmped!
I'm actually shocked someone is moving forward with a Stargate game. It's been over a decade since theirs been any media on that IP (the railed SG Universe show).
I just can't see they gaining anything in using it for a game. Just seems odd, unless this is strictly a game to keep the IP from reverting.
Anyone know if Slitherine mentioned if they are going to do a Star Wars grand strategy game? I skimmed through the conference video and checked out the website but didn't see anything. Maybe the rumors I heard were just that...rumors.
Still I wish they would do a turn based version of Star Wars: Rebellion.

Perhaps the IP was cheap and they got fairly free artistic license with the game for it. I tried watching stargate again a year or so ago and found it had not aged well by the way. I really want to see if babylon 5 has aged well though... that recently got touched up.

I also will be keeping an eye on the Stargate and MoM games.
Wow Scramble looks insane. If they can pull it off it would be...bowel-quaking.

I'd rather play Scramble then drink Kefir to quake my bowels!

True, but at this point I just don't know what kind of value it would give you.
the show is complete cheese, but in a faux 80's type of way. Plus the one "Groundhog Day" episode was pure gold.
I tried rewatching Bab5 about 10 years ago and couldn't make it through the first seven or eight episodes. The dialogue was terrible, the acting was wooden, and the foreshadowing was melodramatic.
I think I agree. Back when I was a young lad watching these shows. My imagination took me with them without noticing as much cheese. As an older adult and with all the progress in society since then it's harder to suspend disbelief.

Yep. I so hope they can. Although I sincerely hope the "Planning is time limited" bit can be turned off...
Excellent descriptive - I shall be using that more in conversation going forward.
^I get a nickel for every usage.
