The old Might & Magic RPGs are on sale at GOG for 60% off. Looks like I may be having even more old school dungeon crawling to do since I grabbed the 6-pack and M&M 7 while I was at it. Still need to kill-loot-level in Demise Ascension and Torchlight 2.

hmmmmm XCOM or AJE - im stuck, only getting one for now, and it seems Beta testers didnt get a free copy of AJE :(
Guild Wars 2. Half way to the level cap now!
I'll play XCOM if someone buys it for me!
X-Com, X-Com, X-Com....Did I mention I was going to be playing X-Com?
I don't go back to work until Tuesday so I also plan to play MechWarrior Online, Skyrim, and maybe some AJE.
I am not even going to look at the description of XCOM.
私は千摺りをするつもりでよ.
To be honest I'm currently plugging along on the recently released variation of "Dynasty Warriors" based on the anime/manga property "One Piece". i.e., "One Piece Pirate: Warriors"
Yes, mock me. Its strategic level is arguably less than the DW games have currently reached (which isn't saying much to begin with). But it's One Piece. The idea that this game exists tickles me immensely, being a fan of the series.
Otherwise I'm thinking of trying to start up on Blood Bowl again. The graphic problems with the original edition on Windows XP 2 led me to drop it pretty quickly, but the newly released Chaos Edition (with 23 teams!) is being marketed at 66% off for prior owners. Two-thirds of whatever isn't much. Maybe it'll look better now. :-\

Situation: 1 computer in house & the DVD Player is broken
Scenario: Wiggles for Kids + Facebook for Missus
Result: No gaming for Pinetree... :( >:(
Hopefully I will get in some more time with War Thunder. I'm liking it a lot, but I'm getting tired of being fodder for everyone who's got/bought higher level planes. I'm thinking I may cough up the $20 and buy the Japanese and USA Pacific Campaign bundle to pick up the A6M5 Zero and the XP-38G planes.
p.s. Tomorrow I'm gonna drag the missus down to Culpeper, VA to check out an air show (http://www.culpeperairport.com/airfest_info_2012.htm). Supposed to have a privately owned "Harrier" :). Weather should be great, so I'm looking forward to it.
Is that privately owned Harrier flown by a US Marine by chance?
XCom. And...XCom. Perhaps a bit of a board gaming, but pretty much XCom.
Hoping to finally crack open xcom.....pre ordered it but haven't had the time to even play it yet.

After work tonight I was in WalMart picking up a few things minding my own business when I walked by the computer games and they had X-COM out front with a little display. I picked the game up and was looking over the box feeling all my resolve melting away ... and then at the moment I was about to turn and head to the checkout my phone rang and it was the wife reminding me to pick something up. I stopped cold and slowly put the game down and backed away. Somehow she just knew what I was doing... ::)

Pot Noodles always look like someone has eaten them before.
I have no doubt that the game is worth the selling price now. With funds being tight and with so many other games I have already purchased that need playing, not to mention little time to do so, I just can't pull the trigger. Also knowing that if I can hold out until Christmas time then STEAM will have some sort of sale where I can get a discount and then I'll be all over that like a fat man at a buffet.

hmmm Sunday and I didn't do xcom all weekend..Watched Gettysburg with my Son Friday night.. Act of Valor by myself last night... Today I will definitely try and get some Xcom in.. but the Patriots are this afternoon!
Gettysburg and Gods & Generals - my fav ACW films - Picketts Charge in Gettysburg is just spectacular. I have both DVD's - shame they never made the 3rd film to round it off.
Yes, I have both DVD's as well!.. A lot of people/critics slammed Gods & Generals, but I thoroughly enjoy them both and also wish they had completed the third one :'(

Gettysburg, one of my all time favorites....but Gods and General, could never wrap my head around it...
I think that the problem with Gods and generals is that they crammed too much in. However, the scenes from Fredricksburg are pretty incredible and make up for the rest of the film. The part where the 2 Irish brigades face off I thought was very well done, and quite emotional.

SW-
I'm running the Morrowind Graphics Overhaul 2.0 downloadable here: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8987
It comes with an install .exe, so you basically just tell it what your preferences are and then it will install everything for you. Fairly painless. The install instructions aren't too hard to understand.
I really like it, the game looks a ton better. There are a bunch of other mods wrapped up with the graphics mod, and you can just check the various boxes of which you want to install. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed the original, which was perfect in its own way. Don't really feel much interest in a re-make.
SO, I just played ROF (I put extra guns on a RE-8 and tried it as a dog fighter versus early war fighters)
AND AJE (I think I can win as Servius vs Clotius and Pescenius)
AND Bir Hakeim (the third game in the Grand Tactical Board Game series)
