There is a $10 off code at Matrix for any game.
I picked up Panzer General: Allied Corp for $5 and added it to my pile of unplayed games.
What is the code for Matrix? I would rather buy there, than Slitherine, as all my catalog is on Matrix.. The Slitherine Code doesn't work there.
can't remember, but its on their front page.
To specify, I believe you have to have subscribed to Matrix's newsletter to get the code (which I have).
The coupon code isn't recalculating any of my attempted purchases at either Matrix or Slitherine.
Guess I'll wait awhile and see if it works later. ???
No it's on the main page.. no need for newsletter.. an MX instead of SL...
hmmm Matrix charges tax.. Slitherine doesn't.. time to switch?

Make sure you put in the exclamation mark at the end, that was my mistake at least.
The code works for the Ageod games as well. Thanks for the heads-up!
This is much better than what they did with the easter eggs last year. Looking forward to picking up either SoW Antietam or WitE: Don to the Danube.
Battle Academy: Operation Husky for $0.00. Thanks Matrix/Slitherine!

+1.
And thanks, Matrix Games! If you intent was for me to buy another game you succeeded! :P
I had to pull the trigger on War in the East, got it for $30. I am not sure if I will like the unit scale, but at $30 I will risk it.
So let's see
* Fantasy Kommander Eukarion Wars
* Drums of War
* Qvardiga
What else, what else? :P
Dumb question....is it one coupon per customer purchase or can you use as many times as you want?

That's it. I'm not sure it's one per customer.
It doesn't seem like they have a way to even notice if you use it multiple times.
And there's nothing about it being a one-time-per-customer thing on the main site.
EDIT:
http://www.matrixgames.com/news/1406/Happy.Easter!
This is the link since nobody bothered to post it. :P
Seems like it can only be used once...of course unless you use different accounts.
Just worked twice for me, same account didn't even log out just completed sale and did next one, Although being greedy and going back third time did not work. Could just go over and use slitherines code for that one I suppose.

I eventually fingered it out. ;)

Great question.....is a one game/one time purchase at $10.00 off or can I use it multiple times for multiple purchases. I assume it's the first....the second option would be crazy but I would love it.

I tried it on a second game and said the code was already used...so for me, it is a one time deal, which makes sense.
Thanks!
Legions! Gold is $9.99
I used the code, and just finished downloading for free. Thank you Matrix!!!
Now..having said that, I HAVE spent hundreds of dollars on their site, so my conscience is relatively clear!
Conquest! is also $9.99, and these are the only two games under ten dollars.
Just picked up Panzer Corps: Allied Corps for $4.99. Not bad at all!
Well just added LnL Stalingrad to my long list of Matrix games
Now I just need to knuckle down and start playing them...

Not that I could find. I tried the activation code at Steam but it said it was invalid. :(
[update] I found that if you navigate to this link (http://www.slitherine.com/my_page) you can create an activation code for Steam!
[update2] Well, when I tried to activate Allied Corps on Steam it wouldn't let me. It said I had to have the original Panzer Corps installed because Allied Corps is DLC (which it isn't). At least the Matrix download installs just fine.
bought it and registered it on steam, it shows up as DLC on panzer corps on steam version.
This is annoying...I have no idea what to get.
The only titles I really want are Civil War II, Espana 1936 and Pandora: first contact. But even with the coupon, they all still cost more than I want to spend (says the guy who spent $150 on an alpha release)

Same here. The
Espana game looks moderately interesting, but not enough for me to justify plunking down the money for it (especially considering how likely -- or not, rather -- I would dedicate the requisite time to learning how to truly play it).
What I really wish was that there was some sort of AJE "complete" edition, but I suspect it's going to be a long while before that happens, if ever.
Wish I could combine the two coupons n one game, LoL.
Also eyeing Civil War 2.. but haven't pushed the button yet..
Since it seems I would only be able to use this once,
Anyone tried Drums of War or Fantasy Kommander?

youre sat at home with the Elite alpha and Wargame Red Dragon man!!!!
Finally picked up Command Ops: Battles for Greece at $19.99. Aside from being some interesting battles, this gives me Italian units I can use for the Sicily scenarios I'm working on.
Looking at getting AGEODs Civil War 2, anyone have any opinions on it?

This would be an insta-buy for me if it had a crete scenario. Not sure how you can have a game titled, "Battles for Greece" and not include that scenario.

They split those up into two packs. The Greece Package above and the hopefully soon to be release Med Pack that will include Crete, hypothetical Malta and North Africa. I have been waiting a long time for the Med pack since I was a big fan of those scenarios in the original Command Ops. Here is hoping it gets released soon now that they have finished working on the last patch which was aimed at lots of niggling bugs and supply issues.

Just used the Slitherine code to grab Panzer Corps: Allied Corps for $5 USD. Best easter egg so far! :)

You can use one through Matrix and the other through Slitherine's site.

Yep, I did the same thing through Matrix. Then I bought Drums of War through Slitherine. :)
So which of the 3 should I get:
Qvardiga, Drums of War or Fantasy Kommander ? :)

I've not played the other two, but
Qvadriga is fun and covers something you just don't see.
I've went for Drums.
I saw that Qvardiga is getting an Android/iOS port, and decided to get it for the tablet when it comes out.

Me too. Wanted this for a long time and couldn't pass on the $5 price.
You can use the coupon twice, once at Matrix Games and second at Slitherine! 8)
I used the Slitherine coupon to pick up the Brandy Station add-on for my Scourge of War collection, which is now complete.
I could certainly buy something else at Matrixgames but doggone, I just have so many games already that I can't justify buying yet another one. Heck, SoW collection alone is probably a year's worth of gaming!
I bought two Ageod games with the coupons: Espana 1936 and the Parthian Wars expansion.
Snagged the Battle Academy Mega Collection and Heroes of Stalingrad. :)
Panzer Corps and PC: Afrika Corps. Frakkin discounts.

Looking at getting AGEODs Civil War 2, anyone have any opinions on it?
I've been playing it on and off since it came out. Many posters didn't like some of the graphics, especially the many and varied screens that pop up showing battle results, etc, the borders weren't richly tectured or something. Too me it was a trivial point that didn't detract from what, in my opinion is one of the greatest game maps ever made , it is nothing short of a beautiful work of art as well as functional and large enough (huge in fact) to see why campaigns and battles happened where they did in the real war. If you are familiar with Ageod games then you know the drill...a somewhat steep learning curve. But I was able to get into the game and play the campaign where I was stymied and unable to do so with ACW1. It's a deep, rich and complex game that takes time to play, but it is rewarding if you like that time frame in history.

I was one who didn't like the new plastic-looking UI. Could look at it as a complete lack of UI art which had always been beautiful and related to the period in all the previous AGE games. Similarly, I wasn't too crazed about
Flashpoint Campaign's bright silver UI backgrounds either, as they look similar, but there was no previous precedent for it, and the game was set in the 80s, so I didn't expect it. Then
TW Rome 2 showed up with a similarly lazy plastic-looking interface. Looks like a trend. Boo!
Fortunately users have been making mods to remedy such immersion killing offenses in some of them.
The rest of the art in CW2 looks great. I got the impression they just saved some time & money by dropping the UI art for what looks like an old generic Windows background, like this:

I am still disappoint.
It was great that they allowed the use of the coupon twice....once on the Slitherine site and once on the Matrix site. Picked up SoW Anteitam for $9.99 on Matrix and WitE: Don to the Danube for $4.99 on Slitherine. An unexpectedly nice Spring sale!
Indeed a nice Easter egg that was :) Picked up PZC Allied Corps, and the three BA add ons I didn't have (Husky, Rommel and Metz). All for 20€, good deal!
Well for Flashpoint Campaigns, we will be using a new dark green/gray skin for the next game and we will probably add the skin for Red Storm too. ;D

Judging by the purchasing response here, alone, it sounds like they had a nice weekend of sales! That probably wouldn't dissuade them.
