What do the different Flare Colors mean? I might try and join, if I can figure out how to get them to 'fire' properly.. I always struggle with the Darn Flare gun in game... My ID I think is Hot Tuna (like the band)

I think I've just got the yellow flare mapped.

Not sure about the flare colors.  I generally don't use them in multi-player as you're advertising your location to all your enemies in a wide area.

The Syndicate server is fun, but their plane selection is often very limited.  I may switch over to Wargrounds server in a bit.  The Recon escort fly-in was uneventful (until everyone left, then I got in a dogfight) so it's a free-for-all now.

So I put some time into the La5 today, and I can't believe how much of a difference trim in all the control surfaces makes.  I can trim this thing to a point that it feels like it's a floating magic carpet.  I think I just found my new favorite plane.  The twin cannons in the nose really expose my gunnery weakness.  I'm a spray and pray shotgun gunner and the la5 needs sniper accuracy.  The thing flies so nice though, can't resist using it.

I really wanna get the La-5 but at $20... sweet baby jesus on a stick!

Will probably wait to make any extra BOS purchases until after I see good evidence of them expanding it.

Guess I need more trim practice because mine feels like a bowling ball when I try to pull a tight turn.  I can't get the ball centered no matter what I try.  I also find it odd that you can only select 100% or 90% fuel with it in the campaigns.  Any idea why they won't let you go lower than 90%?

Finally, I thought air cooled planes were supposed to be more robust than water cooled.  I find the La-5 seems to go up in flames more readily than the LaGG or the Yak.  Feels like a Stuka gunner's just got to shoot in my general direction and my crate's on fire.

I think the stuka gunners are just snipers at later stages of the campaign.  Funny thing is that the he-111 gunners are terrible, it seems like I can get right up in close and just pound away with the gunners never touching me.
